Yup -- still not done -- I'm doing a test to see if I can survive without doing it. [crz]

A test.  That's good!

"Yes, Mr. Inspector, sir, I was testing my rack before I bothered your office with my unworthy little permit application.  Could I interest you in some crystal meth?  Oh, you brought your own.  May I have my dog back now, please?"

I keep checking the NOAA weather report for Palermo and it's still at 50% chance of rain for Saturday and something else for Sunday.  If I go up I'd be by myself since this is the 4H Sees Candy Sales weekend.  Dan's covering it (Thank you, thank you, Dan!).  I could get a poncho and trench for two days by myself, or even one.  The soil is good and loose and it makes for a great meditation (We all call it something different, but it comes to the same thing.).  Its either that or I stay home and work on the bathroom with Dan - Except she's at 4H.  Hmm.

Rain suit, shovel, my farm, iPod, Mozart, Vivaldi, and Porcupine Tree.  I think I can make that work.

glenn kangiser

If you are dry in your rain suit you could shovel all day and not realize you were doing it, Drew, aside from wondering where the blisters came from at night.  Kind of like shoveling gold bearing soil into the trommel.  8 hours went by before I figured out what was going on.  All of the sudden I felt tired.

I'm sure I won't bother the inspector with a request to check my rack.  He's much too busy for that.

Currently 38.1 and overcast.  It's getting hot out. Chance of Rain through Sunday except Friday and Sunday nights - then some sun.  It's been a long wet one.

Cold wet and heavy snow. Perfect cabin building weather.

glenn kangiser

I predict it will not snow again this year.  I just went to the valley and bought snow tires for the back of my truck - four of them.

You guys can all thank me later. [crz]

Temp at about freezing . Freezing rain hanging on everything. Another day of referee as the kids are out of school.

Homegrown Tomatoes

almost up t freezing.  Had a lot of snow overnight and it keeps snowing off and on again.  Hope that the roads are clear because I have a doc's appointment this afternoon and it is a 45 minute drive in good weather.  Got to get the doc to give me all my records so I can transfer to OK.  My grandma called me yesterday morning bellyaching about the snow they were getting back home, and I had to remind her that she is lucky; at least there it will melt off soon!

peternap

Rain...all night and most of the day. About 40F.

We've been having rain also - 39 degrees - yesterday was actually pretty nice - was in the valley part of the day - in the 50's & was partially sunny - went to visit my dad, who isn't doing real well but much better than the docs expected, has esophageal cancer  :( - also visited my granddaughters...   :)

It's nice now.  Low 50s and partially cloudy.  It will rain over the weekend, then get nice again in time to go to work.   :P

4to 6" of snow last night -- fairly warm so it probably won't stay long but pretty wet snow.  I got to plow a bunch with the Bush Hog - a mile and our renters driveway.

Currently 37.8 and getting warmer?

Drew

Rain all weekend, but it looks okay for the work week.  Gee, thanks.  I put my bike rack back on my truck so I'll get a ride in on my way home this week.

tanya

This morning it is 4 below again and I know it has to get warmer soon.  I am using electric heat now so I sure hope so.  At least the sun comes out and warms things up nicely during the day.  Yesterday it got up to 82 in the living/garden room with NO heat on in the house but as soon as that sun goes down it is freezing again.  I am so ready for spring/warm weather but at least those big storms are missing us here in the northern part of my county.   We have had very little snow lately but it is supposed to snow tonight. The crazy thing is that the surrounding counties are all disaster areas due to the heavy snows.

We have sunshine - yeah!  The ground is covered with 2-4 inches of snow, frozen & crumbly...  Glenn has been outside since 0430 building stuff for prospecting...

The weather is promising.  53 degrees and sunny.  The bike rack is back on the truck and I have blocked Wednesdays after work until the end of October for a ride.  Optimism is the catalyst of my success.

Homegrown Tomatoes

Raining and melting here.  We had knee-deep snow last night (not sure when it fell?  Sometime after dark I guess) and now it is all thawing and dripping and relatively warm... around 35-40 degrees.

ScottA

70's and sunshine here today.  :D
