After a couple weeks of below 0, we got 3 inches of snow yesterday. THis AM I actually got called and told to stay home. Ice rain and very warm. There are over 20 accidents in one stretch of the highway and many more all over town. The radio says "Brutal" and at 5 MPH it takes 1/4 mile to stop. Wife just called and she made it to work OK. Boy and daughter made it too. Now to retexture the ceiling in the back bedroom.

Temp is heading down to -13 tonight, with a high of -2 tomorrow.

Minus 18 in the following night.

14f this morning and just started snowing.  c*

Wow, You guy make me fell like a wuss.  It's in the mid 20˚'s here.  I've got to go outside and build some trusses.  The good news is that I'm building them on my porch, so I'll be out of the wind and close to the wood burning stove.

Still I'm having motivational problems.  I do not live in the deep south for sub freezing temp's.

12 this morning, may be 25 for a high. Good thing I got my outside work done yesterday, 52 then.
Don't worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon.

Redoverfarm

High today is 15F and tomarrow 5-8F.  Lows the next couple of nights is -3 to -5F.  Another day w/o school so it looks like my job discription has changed somewhat.  Still have some ceiling boards to finish in the basement though.

You know the weather is affecting your work when the first thing you do is nail your glove to the first gusset.  d*

Redoverfarm

Juust one reason I hate wearing gloves.  You have no feeling.  Some outside jobs are ok wearing them but for me most jobs aren't.

Sometimes working alone is a good thing. I'm not providing entertainment for the group. :)

38 degrees. My driveway is a ice ramp and I am POed that the snow up north is gone. I REALLY need a weekend getaway. Work is a trainwreck and my son is ready to tell then to shove it. Neither is good for monetary purposes. If they are going to make us move on, wait until May. Bastages.... sorry to rant.... poor leadership/management is tough when you have years of training and practice of it. I spent an hour on the hone talking my boy out of packing up and moving to a company with financial problems from before the big slide into oblivion.

Redoverfarm

Minus 5 at 0600.  Better put on the longjohns. :D

ScottA

We somehow warmed up to 18. I'll take it.

fishing_guy

A brisk -21F this am in Minnesota.  Considering that it is -38F at our land up north this morning, I don't feel so bad.

Anyone want to buy a freezer?  We don't need it much this winter!
A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work any day, but building something with your own hands beats anything.

Government weather tampering... alteration of the jet stream by HAARP and various weather modification techniques.

Cool disclaimer added to it.   Had to do that since they couldn't keep it off the net.

You think they will own it if they don't play with it now?   Check out the chemtrails they paint overhead everyday.  Contrails dissipate - I see them too.  Chemtrails spread and cover the sky stealing our solar power if nothing else, but the weather is like a pond.  Things done here can not be done without affecting the whole pond.  The waves can tear down dikes.

Yeah -- I'm crazy.............. or am I? hmm [crz]
