We have been showing rain on the prophets charts here too but haven't had any. I think we will tonight. Might see Muldoon flying past. Nope looks like it is coming from the NE instead of the SE.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.

Was 97 here and ashing -- I think the ash fell last week but was in the trees at my workplace - maybe 5 miles from the fire.

You probably threw him off with ashing. Left him speechless..

We've cooled down to the high 90s... after last week, I almost need a parka.

ScottA

Yup, pretty darned nice after the meltdown of the past few days.

Fortunately the fire missed our place so I didn't make an ash out of myself. d*

Cold here today - about 94 predicted.

We have been showing rain for the last several days and show it again for the next three. Haven't seen a drop. I think our prophet is an optomist. No ash though. If the fire was in LA it might come whistling down I-10.

I always wondered what it would be like to have a job where you could be wrong more than 50% of the time, and still get paid. ::)

Weather here partly sunny and 63*, chance of showers tonight.

I spoke too soon. We had a shower yesterday afternoon before I made it home.

My ash isn't falling anymore. d*

Maybe it is being absorbed by humidity. You could have ashid rain.

Not sure about the ashid rain, desdawg.  It usually falls in light shattered scours. [crz]

Cool 42*, partly sunny this morning, and fresh termination dust on the mountains. :)

It poured all night.  Everything is soaked, except the first floor of the cabin, which I tarped.  50 degrees.

MountainDon

Too bad on the rain. We spent time nearly every day sweeping off the water on the tarp and checking underneath for leakage. Then air drying, recovering and repeating. It's a drag.  Hope it goes well for you and that the floor doesn't get too wet.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

Forecast 106 again today. Wish we could get to some of that chili weather I read about in the other thread.

We're pretty good now.  91 today predicted to highs of 96 in about a week.

Sassy

We had about 3 days 79-83 - very unusual for this time of year - but very nice!  So you say there's global warming going on?

I'll take it. Just hope we don't have the coldest winter in history this year.

Redoverfarm

Presently 78F.  But it seems 100F in the loft area while I am hanging insulation and building walls.  Rain possibly by Tue or Wed which is way overdue.  Everything is drying up, Yard looks like a waste land and the streams are getting real low.  Heard today on a local station that we have only had 1" of rain in 30 days. Shoot we usually get 1/2-1" everytime it rains.  But they also commented that when you have low temps that thunderstorms don't happen to deliver any perciptation.

desdawg

Thunder, lightening, rain, power was off when I woke up 75 degrees. A nice change. I am headed up north this morning. I have a rental coming empty.

46 degrees and raining here.  Bet we have some fresh snow on the mountains when this all clears up in a day or two. c*
