This looks like a worm on a hook.

StinkerBell

No......
Moi?
No......

I have been looking at a vegie/fruit juicer. Not sure if it's something I want to invest in but maybe I do...Not sure.

Redoverfarm

Boy thats a relief.  I thought the moderators would have a ball with this one.  ;D

StinkerBell

Good grief...Ihave been watching you tube videos on different juicersand this guy put into his juicer a stalk of rubarb including the  large leaf!

I have a Champion Juicer  (20 years) works great and makes great peanut butter also.  You can get meat and grain mills to fit it.

I have a JuiceMan juicer that I use to make carrot/apple juice.  About half carrot, half apple is very sweet and refreshing.  I have tried lots of fruits and vegetables, but that is my favorite.

One word of warning; if you make juice out of fresh beets, be aware that your body does not metabolize the red color at all, and your urine will look like Sammy Sosa used your kidneys for batting practice.  Scared the pee out of me the first time.

Stinky, Crimoney... ::)

I don'r know what to say....

I haven't juiced for a long time but the last time I did I just put a hinge on two 2 x 4's then stuck it between them and smashed real hard.

It smashed very hard before the outer skin popped open then the juice ran out into a bucket.  The pressure was so great before it popped open that all of the seeds seemed to rupture also.  It saved a lot of time.  Much better than cutting it open and doing a small piece at a time.

I didn't stop until the bucket was nearly half full.

Made the best pomegranate jelly we had in a long time.  [ouch]

Sorry I didn't get to this sooner but I am working out of town for a couple weeks - driving back and forth 80 miles one way.

I know it is important to you, Stinky.

Yes the apple carrot is wonderful

I gave away the juice man and bought a Breville --really excellent
Often, our ignorance is not as great as our reluctance to act on what we know.

StinkerBell

I just ordered a Breville Juicer.

I read up on so many juicers yesterday. Its the die cast metal body with the titanium plates that sold me.

I've never used a juicer, but we use our vitamix blender for just about everything.  It makes good juice and you get all the fiber you wouldn't get if you were using the conventional juicers.  I like carrot/apple/raisin combo, or anything with celery (fruit and veggie juice are both made better by that flavor.)

A bad day of fishing beats a good day at work any day, but building something with your own hands beats anything.

UPS just deliverd my package! Have some fruits and veggies ready to go. Need to read the manual.

StinkerBell

Had my first drink. It was made up of Spinach, parsley, ginger root, pear, green apple, mango, and a celery stalk.
It wasn't bad at all. I am rather impressed the waste was dry. I am considering after I make some soy milk to run my mixture through the machine. THe stainless steel mesh is wonderful and I think it would help strain the soy milk.

Those are printed in case it doesn't work. ;D

StinkerBell

I just had fresh unadultarated Orange Juice and it was delicious.

Homegrown Tomatoes

Now you need some chickens, Stink, to eat the leftovers out of the juicer.

StinkerBell

That stuff is going break down quickly  to make excellent compose.
