section of 20" culvert weighs?

I bought 5 of them today (for $ 8.00 each) and couldn't lift them. I had to use a digging iron to wiggle them around and roll them up to and on the trailer.

I felt so .....old. :(
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

Peter a 18" culvert has the weight of 168# per foot and a 24" has 268# per foot.  Depending on the length no wonder you couldn't manage them.  I would say that a 20" is roughly 210#.  That is a wall thickness of 2.25-2.50 inches.

Thanks John! These were 4 footers. That explains why I'm so sore ???
Glad I have a tractor to take them off ;D

Peter I would be lost w/o my tractor.  Handy as a pocket on a shirt.
