Well, it's getting' to be that time of year, folks.
Our beloved farmer John sent me a pic and a suggestion, of which who am I to argue.....
He probably don't hear this tune as much as every child from 4 to 84 that lives in town, and hears the ice cream scooter getting' closer and closer...........
Actually, I have a friend that put hisself thru college by pushin' frozen goodies on sticks....and repairing scooters.....and scrambling to keep everything frozen during power outages......and having territorial scooter wars.....rainy weekends......and keepin' hisself from givin' away the farm to penniless kids in the slum sections.........and trying to get that %&$#*& song out of his head every blessed night.....


I believe this flamboyant feathered (savory) friend has been under the tutelage of Earl Scruggs hisself;

Actually my dad stopped the car & made all 4 of us kids get out on the side of the road on a cross country trip & took off down the hwy w/my mom...  he'd warned us several times to "knock it off" & when the pillow flew out the window he'd had it    We were a little worried when they didn't come back for awhile... 

My dad has been gone for 4 yrs (leap day) but I have lots of funny, wonderful memories when I look back.  Miss you Dad!
