Looks interesting, TT.

We in America must of course continue to buy only from corporate America who owns us and our News outlets.

I hope they do manage to get it going but little guys have little chance....but maybe in another country.

Sounds fishy to me.  No one has ever been able to get cold fusion to work - and lots have tried.

No published work that's been peer reviewed?   ???

Anyone want to buy my perpetual motion machine?  It's only $3500.

Give me a place to stand and a lever long enough,  and I will move the world.

Yes... It is always questionable until actually proven and they are available and working.  Still remains to be seen.  I have been watching a Stirling site for years, but they still are not past the development stage and getting prototypes going while needing more investment money.

The scientist who finally gets this to work is going to instantly win a Nobel Prize.

Research scientists have a tendency to be somewhat egotistical.  If this actually worked,  these guys would be singing it from the rooftops and applying for a Nobel Prize (and the money associated with it).

To bypass all scientific review and go right into production?   This story sounds fishy.

Some day someone will figure it out though and they will be very rich and famous.

Check out the movie "Chain Reaction" for some insight into what might happen if anyone ever gets something like this to work.

glenn kangiser

Nobel prizes have been reduced to a sham.. Obama got one and he has drained more blood than Bush lately.

If I discovered something like this I would have it set up and be using it to prove it worked.  I would not have it in a suitcase packing it around trying to convince people it worked.  Hard to say....

I agree, Scott.  Our corporate owners would not allow it out.  Others got close and are not around anymore at least that is the pretty credible story.

Prove it works, and I'll drive on down to "fusion world" and pick one up. Who wouldn't pay $7500 for a suitcase-sized 10 KW generator that runs on $5/year of fuel.

I call BS right off.  This would be worth trillions.  Not even an exageration.  What government wouldn't buy this?  What government wouldn't kill them and take the technology?  If they are alive, poor, and talking about it on the internet.  Total BS.

Is there some sort of Dewey Decimal system to keep track of all the conspiracy theories?

I don't know about anyone else,  but I'm having trouble keeping track of them all.  Whew!

Total BS.

Notice they sprinkle in a few reputable news organizations with the science of cold fusion in general.  Then they add the detailed stuff with the websites they own and their own out there publications.    So they come up with an almost unlimited form of energy for almost no cost, yet no government or major power company has bought it.  Rather than getting an economy of scale, as in all power generation, and selling it for billions to major power companies, they just happen to be selling it door to door.  If you had 200 million Euro ( $300 million) would you rather build one large reactor and sell power to the 90% of people already on the grid or build 300,000 units to be sold individually.   Oh by the way half the money goes to the "inventor" so $150 million to build 300,000 units.  So they cost around $500 to make a 24 KW generator.  What a deal.  Oh by the way, this is still a nuclear reaction.  I can't see any problems with selling a nuclear reactor door to door, rather than just building a large one and selling the power.

Don't get me wrong.  I am a large proponent of science and research into the cold fusion field.   There are large parts of the universe that we still have no clue about.  These are the exact areas that society should devote our energy and minds to.  I love the concept of pushing the limits of our universe and understanding.  This doesn't pass the smell test though.  This is not the first to claim this, each time one of these comes out it sets the field back even further.  Boy who cried wolf.

Thanks alot Archimedes, can't answer your question but I've just spent the last 30 minutes reading about the 1864 copperhead conspiracy  :D

Squirl

I should just walk away from this, but I can't believe some of these things.  So they claim that they are manufacturing 300,000 individual units that anyone in the general public can buy, but they can't provide one unit to an outside independent reviewer.  How is that even plausible?  ???  If you read the details they still have not provided a working model to the company that is to sell it.  The only way anyone can verify their claims is in the controlled settings they provide.  This has all the tell tale earmarks of a hoax.

ScottA

What better way to discredit the technology than staging a scam based on said technology.

Here is a pdf of the report written by independent scientists from Sweden Hanno Essen and Sven Kullander

25 Kw- hours produced over 5 hours and 45 minutes with the only input being from a 300 watt heater

I just received my Bedini monopole kit

It looks like it will take a few hours to get it assembled

should be a fun project

I'll keep you updated  (probably in a new post)

I'm going to try one!

I have some extra money coming from a lawyer in Africa. As soon as it gets here I'm putting in my order.
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

I put the unit together.

Not very difficult

I does some very unusual things

so far I have been shocked twice from this 12 VDC charger (worse than a 120 VAC shock) when a magnet flew off and I disconnected the wires to the charging battery by hand , blew several fuses in my DVM, turned the Neon lights black on the inside and finally burned them out -- but it still works

quite entertaining

the numbers (connected to two 12 V bats in series for a nominal 24 VDC in and out )
voltages and AMPS measured with a calibrated DVM

Input
.180 Amps @ 25.6 VDC into the device from the operating battery = about 4.6 watts

Output
.248 Amps @ 24.86 VDC  into the charged battery = about 6.16 watts

the top coil in the picture is a separate generator coil I connected it to a resistive load (soldering iron) and it produced about 6 watts @ about 12 to 18 VDC

operating RPM varied alot based on how the circuit was tuned

from a low of about 1200 to as high as 4200 RPM

it seemed to produce more output at lower RPMS -- I need more data on this

so there you have it, 4.6 watts into the charger device from the input batteries and

over 12 watts out (6 watts into charging the batteries plus 6 watts from the generator coil) in usable energy

Nicola Tesla proved radiant energy was real 60 years ago, this device seems to be more proof.

think of how much damage I can do with this set- up
