I never realized I put this in the wrong forum than I wanted to. I saw these in an ad in the back of Handyman magazine and thought they looked neat, even though I'm not sure the folding design would hold up. The website is www.mistermizer.com

Not me--Google asked me if I wanted to go to Mister Meaner.

We may have to find the original wrong-forum post.

That works! and that's an interesting device. I'd like to see one up close; see how it seals, etc.

I was surprised a few months back to see a regular porcelain urinal in an upscale house locally. Owner was quite proud of it and touted it's water saving over even a low-flush toilet. It's probably a good idea in that respect.

this waterless is $232. you replace the $39 cartridge but no water hook up. it seems there could be a diy replacement (refill) http://www.falconwaterfree.com/products/f5000.htm

Urinals with a view!
I am still trying to convince my wife to let me install a urinal in the upstairs bathroom...

The hardest part is getting past the mental blocks about what you are capable of doing.

I like the buckets.

IKEA has had good experience using the waterless urinals from what I hear.

Was going to put one in downstairs in "My" bathroom, and a sink with without a vanity. No elect.

Then I wouldn't have to worry about filling the vanity with "beauty potions", no plug for the curling iron, hair dryer etc, and can get in when ever I want.

Got my wish except the urinal, but still works well.

Well - these are cute

but for no electricity - this may be practical:

Can I use the big white mints in these?  Doesn't look big enough to chase a cigarette butt around in, either.

glenn-k

The white mints should be just fine.  Just no big chocolate candy bar. :-/

I think I will stay with the multi-purpose (s)tool. But I really like the pictures Glenn. I imagine they sell a lot of those to the gay community.  :-*

This explains a lot.

Us mountain boys are very cautious when working over there and never pick anything up if we drop it on the ground. :o

The English ones come with a CCTV linked to Merseyside Police like the mini chopper ( ouch) Glenn posted on another thread, to control anti-social behavior- a small speaker imparts messages such as ""ATTENTION: STAND CLOSER...STAND CLOSER" or "STOP THAT-YOU"L GO BLIND""...

glenn-k

or "Stand Closer - It may be shorter than you think." :-/

Seems this thread is going down the drain. :o

Most homes would never have one of those things installed- the lady of the house wouldn't stand for it.
, ..Was it Dolly Parton that used to sing http://www.urinelle.biz/  ""Stand By Your Man""...?

That was terrible, Pete --- and sorry to say, Sassy got it before I did. :-/ :)

She often takes a strong stand on things that go into the underground complex, but urinals isn't one of them. :-?

Sign seen in a public restroom:
"We aim to please. You aim too, please."
Yup, it's all about down the drain.

Amanda_931

Tammy Wynette (listed as one of the writers), not Dolly Parton.

(although it looks like Dolly Parton recorded it as well.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stand_by_Your_Man )

That would be a pretty good trick, Amanda. :o

Still.....   an old friend told one time of having a contest to see who could shoot the farthest, and I understand his sister won.  Some of my old Canadian friends could really drink a lot of beer. :-?
