Probably varies from cabin to cabin.  It really depends on what space you available and it's relationship to the points of usage ( bathrooms & kitchen) .  Ideally you want to be fairly close to each to limit the run length to avoid wasting water and have hot water available in a short period of time. So as they say it just "depends" on your layout and what space is available nearby to the points of use.

For just a week end - vacation week dwelling most do not bother in these smaller sized cabins around here.  We live in a fifthwheel while doing the house build.  For like a couple years it has been the Laundromat.  (no we have not been building the long)   That is one spot in the build my wife is so glad about.  We have a washer and dryer in the utility of the new house working.

Our daughters family they have a small apartment.  Theirs is tucked away in a hallway in what looks like a closet door.  Open it up and there is a over under washer and dryer combo.  I always thought that was a good solution to the cabin washer and dryer.
