..To play some music at a local event as a family band! Pretty scary but a lotta fun.. Just thought I'd share a couple of our songs, imperfect though they may be.. :)

...And if you've ever heard that song before, than you most likely are familiar with my avatar..

Yes, we are... It took  a bit of prodding, though. ;) Not sure if he'll keep doing it with us, but he sure adds some much-needed talent/know-how..

  I had a 'knee slapping, foot stompin" good time . . .    :)

Made me want to load up the "kinfolk" and move to "Beverley" . . .     Hills that is . . .    Swimmin pools . . .    Movie stars!

  Keep up the good work!

Still trying to get my banjo-plucking sister to finish learning that one, bayview.. ;) Glad you liked it.

Camera was a 3 chip MiniDV Panny (SD).. We used a cheap shotgun mic (Audio Technicia ATR-55). The mix was a bit weak on the bass and vocals, unfortunately..

We've got another event to play at towards the end of the month, but it's going to be completely acoustic, so we are doing some reformatting of the songs.. Gonna do a couple John Denver too, hopefully.

Add Glenn and his jug . . .

And . . .    Maybe someone with an old washboard - "scrubbing board".

Congratulations to you and your family.   It is nice to see a family working and playing together.

I could do the washboard - used to use one to wash clothes before I had a clothes washing machine...   :D
