I'm mad today. Not irritated, just plain mad.

I had a full agenda and I'm not getting it done. I have to replace some batteries and dropped them a couple of times loading them in the truck.
Then I had to take a piece of machinery off of my trailer. That was the last straw. It wasn't really heavy, about 300 pounds, but my left arm is nearly useless now and about half the size of my right. My left leg isn't working very well either and I'd never pass a field sobriety test if I had to walk a straight line...

Anyway. I used a 2x4 to lever the thing up which worked really well braced on my shoulder. Halfway off of the trailer, I stumbled over my own left leg and dropped the thing over the side of the trailer, broke a weld and had to drag the welder over to fix it.

Then I had to load flats of seedlings to take out to the field. Dropped two of them.

I have 5 gallon buckets of wheelweights waiting for me to cast ingots for bullet casting. I tripped over one and spent the next half hour picking up wheelweights.

The ticks are out in record numbers and I must be wearing a free lunch sign and it's gonna rain again I think!

Thinking my glucose may be low because I haven't eaten today, I took a reading....275 and that's without eating. ???

This has got to be punishment for threatening to dry fire the bows at Greentops yesterday, if I didn't get some help. >:(

You're diabetic(?) and having a drunken behavior type day. Get out of the sun and get your sugar in control before it spirals. If you can go see your dr.

As a diabetic you know you have to have food to run your engine....Grab a spoon of peanut butter!

Stressful day & stress will raise your blood sugar even when you don't eat (your cortisol levels rise).  I can identify w/you in some ways - since I had back surgery last month I have been limited in lifting & bending - but there's still everything to get done - especially w/Glenn having been gone most of the time since  d*  I felt great after the surgery, did too much & pulled something in my back about 4 days afterwards - I get the original pain (sciatica) on & off again now, that I had the surgery for  >:(  (besides my bad hips).

Yesterday I was at the house in the valley, got the 3 step stool & climbed up it to get something in the shelf above the fridge, stepped down thinking I only had 2 steps (like the stool I use all the time at the cabin)  went tumbling down onto the tile floor, hit my right knee & hip, layed there for a few minutes before I could get up...  very mad at myself!  I seem to be ok today, spent about 4 hours weeding out in the garden this afternoon.

It is disheartening when you are used to being able to do anything & your body starts playing traitor.   :(

Take it easy for the rest of the day, eat some protein & veggies & try to enjoy the evening  :)

Thanks Sassy ;)

I had a video job to do this afternoon and evening so Jane drove me. Thank heaven for wives and tripods.
I ate a sweet potato and feel a little better now and I'm down to 142, which is still way high for my normal but better than it was earlier.

Hopefully it will be normal in the morning. I have about two weeks of bush hogging to get caught up on.

I think you summed it up pretty well :-\
