Done but no refund. The good news is, I don't owe either. That's the only good thing about a bad economy. Plenty of losses to claim.

Finished.  In fact I was due a refund and filed early.  Already received the refund and it has already went to boost the economy.

Refund from Fed

pay into IL (they now make you pay 'use tax', equal to state sales tax, if you buy something in another state to use in IL)

you can even ask for amnesty for previous years

   What kind of stuff does IL try and collect "use tax' on ?  How do they enforce that?  I can see how they could do so on things like vehicles, boats or planes but stuff that doesn't require registration would be hard to track. If I lived close to a border it would seem easy enough to just store and license  something like a plane or boat or RV in an adjacent state.

Paid in to Illinios and California....I didn't even work in Ca last year How did that happen??

Worked in two states with no income tax.......
