The German people have had it with abuse by big business backed by big government.

They have successfully stopped a train of nuclear waste being deposited at an unsafe location even amid beatings by riot police.  The police are worn out and beside themselves, many of them even sympathizing with the protesters.

That is the same future I see for the West, but I think with NORAD deployments in the states, the Haliburton concentration camps and governments rabid push for gun control and ammunition control, they are worried that the people of the West are beginning to feel the same as the German people.

Thanks for posting this, Glenn

I wonder why this isn't on American TeeVee nooz (or radio)

I only found it on alternative news.  I think government is scared of the herd getting ideas.....

They wish to present the illusion that any major form of protest is futile.

I like it that the German people did this in a nonviolent protest, even as the police were bashing their heads in, and they were successful.  Around 1000 injured by police brutality, until the police tired of beating and dragging them.

I wasn't sure what reaction would be here, Peter, but thought I would post it to show that maybe resistance to damaging government policies can be accomplished relatively peacefully as people begin to wake up.

Seems it was not done there by the vote, but by public outrage at abuse by industry and elite agreements -

Sure France, we will let you make our people glow for enough money to the right people.... [waiting]

I guess the train eventually gets through and we wait for the next one then, huh?

Oh well... good to know that not all of them are just sitting back and letting it happen.

The German people are very upset but this is just one item of many. Other major issues are immigration (maybe the biggest issue) and bailouts of banks and other european countries (Think Greece). Also many younger Germans are tired of the WWII guilt pushed on them for things that happened before they where born. Germany is still making payments for WWII. They just paid off the WWI debt a couple of weeks ago.

Thx muldoon.  Looks like they really went all out in protest this time in the face of a bunch of pretty serious looking storm troopers.

Nice to see some trying to protect themselves,  their families and even the sold out police from dangers to all of their families from unsafe DU storage for profit without regard for the consequences.
