I am happy to report that my new highrise mounts not only resolved the bolt to scope clearance issue but also allowed me to crank the elevation turret back down two full turns 

Now I just need to take it to the range

Been awhile since I have posted but saw this thread and had to comment. I have a 1912 7mm Mauser with Chilian Crest, 1943 8mm Mauser with Nazi insignia ( after some research was made in Germany plant ). These 2 need to be restored. Then I have 2 Remington .270 700 models.
