Redoverfarm

Don I thought I would try something utilizing this post by you to confirm or discredit my thought regarding the notification.  In the notiify bar at the top it will allow me to be notified ( I think) if I request each individual topic but will not allow me to be notified of everything that comes out in the General or Owner build as it did before the switch.

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I was just doing some reading on cordwood building. Here is a pretty good description of the process and how to prepare the wood. Of course you are just talking about a faux wall but thee may be something in here you could use.

When you get there choose "research", "techniques"," Log Selection, Preparation & Treatment"
It looks like building with cordwood isn't a job, it's a career.
Anyway I thought you might find it interesting Don.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.

Thanks desdawg.  I definitely am not after another career.  ;D

Prepare the logs, let dry for two summers and build during the third one.  d* Best not start out homeless.  I was reading more at daycreek on the forum about the chinking product and the borax treatment. It would sound like this is not a poor man's sport.
