The South admitted they started the firing during earlier war games.

To those who see the US-ROK war games off North Korea as something normal and right; consider what the reverse situation would look like e.g. Russian & Cuban naval forces engaged in manoevres just off the Florida Keys with some errant shells landing near Key Biscayne. The US would go ballistic would it not? And to have the Russians and Cubans then tell the Americans that its going to happen every year and you better get used to it would see the US hit the red button.

Seems it would be prudent to stay low key in a disputed area rather than kicking the bee's nest.

We encourage the provocation and all of the sudden it becomes our responsibility to run in there with an AC Carrier and make things our problem. [ouch]

Last time we went to war with China, we didn't do so hot.  Now they don't have to lift a finger other than to sell some treasury bonds.  BTW, when was the last time we went to war with a nuclear armed foe?

I think it's all a setup to scare the world into accepting global government. Make a nice scary war with lots of nukes about to be used then have an emergency meeting at the U.N. and unite the world. They will probly even use a couple of nukes before the meeting to make sure everyone is properly scared. Who'd miss N. Korea after all. It's just a little country.
