16' x 28' loft house

We finished the exterior painting this week. The HVAC is roughed in and we are working on finishing roughing the electrical today.

Roofer has been delayed but should be here tomorrow.

This is an interesting project and good to look at again. I'll post a couple of the photos for comments





I particularily like the simple white trim, the porch details and the window layouts. Details such as these make a simple house into something more that just a basic shelter.

Hi:

Is this an 8' or 10' deck.  Also, can the porch or deck roof be different.  Maybe les slope and depth (as in vertical)

Going from the spacing on the guard rail at the bottom I assume it is about an 8' deck.  I have worked on buildings with balcony decks -patios on apts- similar that had very little slope - I think they were about 1/8 inch per foot -great attention was payed to flashing and a special 3 part coating was used to make sure there was no leakage due to the low slope.

I'll have to measure...but it is either 8 or 10 feet.
