We have two mama hens hatching out nests full of baby chicks in our sunroom.  That is all.

We had old rooster that pecked me hard right under the kneecap, you know that soft tender spot, for lunch.  Oh, I guess that would be back burner chicken

  Stealth Chicken is not really a very good momma hen... she tried to "help" the chicks out of their eggs once they started hatching and ultimately killed them.  So, I gave her remaining five eggs to Pretty, and hope that she'll do better.  So far only one of her eggs has hatched and we have a cute, fuzzy black and yellow chick.

nope, no pics of the massacre... it was pretty bad.  Silly chicken sat on that nest for three weeks just to destroy the chicks!
