I'm looking at a "modular" home.  It has what looks like a 4 in 12 pitched roof, likely built with trusses.

Is it possible to create cathedral ceilings in such a place without totally redesigning the roof?

Thanks.

Not clear of you mean it's already built and standing, or something yet to be purchased???

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I am looking at a possible purchase.  And I need to know if the roof was framed with trusses, is it possible to create cathedral ceilings without totally redoing the roof structure.

Also, has anyone ever heard of radiant ceiling heat?

I can't imagine how one could create a cathedral ceiling without tearing out the existing structure, sheathing and roofing without actually making more work.

radiant ceiling heat...  Google = lots of results
