I think this subject has came up before and if it hasn't it is now.  I just ran across a sale of the portable showers that run off of a 20# propane tank.  The smaller one will last 18 hours ande the larger 12 hours.  For someone starting their build it would be handy to have a hot shower at the end of the day building.  For those without a well I could envision a small transfer/storage tank and 12 volt pump to supply the water.  Just thought someone might find this useful.

I have the exact shower at my place, built an outdoor shower in May of last year.  I have the larger capacity one and have no issue with it providing hot water.  For our Texas summer, its often too hot in fact (even at lowest setting), but in the winter its just right.  It does work, if you have a well and running water but no plumbing or real "bathroom", its a fantastic way to get a shower at the end of a sweaty day of work.

I have used it probably at least 10-15 times and am still on the first tank.

I think I even have construction photos if someone is interested in it.

That's a good find John, Thanks!

Muldoon, is this gravity flow or does it have a small pump?
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

I have the smaller one and it says you need 20-80PSI to operate. I have heard some people say they use a 55 gallon drum with a small battery operated pump to provide the necessary water flow.
