I've been trying to figure out a cheap shower enclosure for awhile now.  Fiberglass shower bases alone are about $100.

I went to a Lowe's yesterday and saw a 32" full shower enclosure on clearance, priced $197 down from $297.  I offered them $150 and they said no.  Went to another Lowe's tonight and they had the same enclosure for $68.  Yee ha.

I wonder if there is a way to get a print out of storewide clearance inventory?  I'd love to take a look to see what they've got on the list.

Given the amount of snow up there now, it will be July before I can get in though.

Nice!  [cool]

I was in Lowe's last weekend looking over their showers and couldn't find one cheap enough for me. I was looking for that kind of deal.

I should think about where I am going to store something like this before I buy it.  Just because I am a white trash hillbilly does not mean I want to look like one (not all the time anyway).

Hmmm.

NM_Shooter,

Isn't your storage shed the front lawn?  ;D

Good deal.

NM_Shooter

No.  My front yard is my long term parking lot (old camaro on blocks) and goat pasture.  It used to double as a recreation center, but that was before the tornado blew the trampoline against the trees.  One of these days I'm going to have to take that trampoline down.  It's blocking the view of my still-up Christmas ornaments.

I gotta go.  I'm expecting a call from the folks at the Jerry Springer show.

I've got on old engine hoist with a mostly disassembled 383 that makes a wicked awesome yard ornament. My wife doesn't like it though.

Gee NM_shooter, have you considered just adding lights around the trampoline.....would make an awesome wreath!!!  You gotta work with what you got.

Ahhh,  brings memories!   :) :)  At one time I had two 4 cyl Volvo blocks in the yard, each with marigolds growing out of the cylinder tops and the hole in the side of the block.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I love strolling through Lowes grazing for clearance.  I've learned to detect the difference between the yellow tags that say "clearance" or "new low price" at several paces.

Whoa.  What a beautiful idea.  You may have a gift for this sort of thing!

What can a feller do?  My two 2 1/2 car garages and my pole shed are full. A fella has to stack some stuff outside doesn't he? I mean, otherwise you'd have to get rid of stuff right?

Also remember, if you can't plant something in it, or hang lights on it, then it becomes an "art installation", but if there are any loose parts that flap in the wind, it becomes a "kinetic sculpture".  Also please note:, it is not a "weed filled lot", it is an eco-friendly, native plant habitat.

If you go to the post office and pick up some moving packets you will find 10% off coupons for lowes. Home Depo will honor the coupons too.

Home Depot has a deal now if you are a vet you get 10% off. All you have to do is tell the casher. I am not sure about lowes, but usually they match deals.
