Away from politics again, knives

I was discussing local ordinances the other day and naturally, the thread led to knives

Anyway, I took a picture of the first Damascus knife I forged (Which my wife swiped and is using as a letter opener

Thought I'd put it here too before the picture gets lost.

Forged blade, differential temper
Buffalo horn grip with an elephant ivory cap
German silver guard and stem spacer (This was also the first oval guard I made with vine filework)
Homemmade Cutlers Resin holding it together
