If you have no clue, try a +.25 first.   Remember that this works in conjuntion with whatever prescription shooting glasses you already use.

Note he is travelling to matches fairly soon.

Got a reply from him and he suggested +.65 so I'll order that and try it out.

Holy cow, that is a bunch!  Let me know how your ability to work with the target is with that sort of correction.  Your front post should be as sharp as a razor!

I was surprised too but perhaps it's because of my reading glasses.  Just can't focus at things up close anymore.

Now if the front site post is a razor then I should be nailing things like crazy again :)  Don't need to see the target, just a black blur.
