I just got a letter telling me how important it is to fill out the census when it comes.

In reading what I can find it looks like the fine is 100.00 for not answering and 500.00 for false information. I thought the fine was higher.

Census lady came by deer run today. I told her no one lives here. lol

They haven't made it past my gate yet.... they still have a 1/4 mile to go to get here.  Think I'll mount a bunch of targets with the bulls eyes shot out near the gate.  [waiting]

I thought they had to physically visit your place so they could GPS the property entrance and front door coordinates.

I guess it's time to put the "Beware Of Zeus" signs on the gates. ;D

Good idea.  I wonder if we are violating their Constitutional right to count us? [waiting]

Census worker showed up in our front yard last week and did some kind of a 50-point turn and still nearly took out some posts.  The puppy kept jumping on her, so she never made it far in the yard.

Same thing here Scott.  Then she asked me if anyone lived out beyond.  I told her that they were all summer camps.  She said they told her to check on them.  No way on that road.  She apparently had more faith in my warning than she did in her bosses and went back toward civilization.

As a blue state lefty-liberal, I can't tell you how glad it makes me feel to hear that many red state/libertarian/tea party followers are refusing to fill out the census.

See, I know that Congressional apportionment is done based on the census, so every time one of them declines to participate, it makes us tax raising, gun banning, big government socialists seem that more numerous, and we gain seats in Congress.

By all means, throw your census forms in the compost pile; all the better to complete our Stalinist takeover and impose our totalitarian agenda on the silent majority. heh

You guys only got in there because the elite wanted you in there, Pox.  The vote is a sham to pacify both sides....  totally inconsequential.

The takeover has been complete for years.  Those who think otherwise are just fooling themselves.  Those who don't believe that are in denial... heh

Got my letter last week, telling me that a letter would be arriving soon and that letter would be the Census. The letter told me that I should send the next letter back so that I could be counted. Wow, that's the first time in a long time that anyone from the government told me that I counted. The Census wanted my phone number (?) names and dates of birth of all residents and the race and sex of all residents. I can agree with the number of residents and ages, but dates of birth? Phone numbers? Race? With Mr. Obama's election, I was told that we would be post-racial, so why do we need to put race and ethnicity into the mix? Bueller?

OlJarhead

I sent my Census in but only responded to the number of people in my home and that we don't live elsewhere.

other then that it's none of their business

ScottA

I sent mine in. I knew I was moving in a few weeks so i didn't figure it would matter. Resistance is futile. Hide.

glenn kangiser

Did you send in your GPS coordinates, Scott?

So it appears that it is not about counting us but besides disseminating our illegally requested or taken info all over the place, the census has been privatized to be disseminated globally for profit.

Got your share of the profits yet, consumer?   [waiting]

No I didn't send in my coordinates but I didn't need to they already had them from last year when they went around getting them from every house in the US. Glenn I'm sure the data will be used for demogrphics for advertising etc. We are moving in 6 weeks and I'm putting up one of your signs by the front gate.

Just as a side note to all this...did you know private companies can get lists of people who are getting tax refunds and the amounts? Last year we got a pretty healthy refund and I was contacted by several sales people shortly after I recived it. I had not been contacted prior to that or since. Pretty much all data the federal government has on us is available if you know where to look.

Scott, I found out a long time ago that I could get anything I wanted. Some was just harder than others. The V.A. was always the most difficult to get info from, but I managed!
