Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

I don't know . . .  Looks like you are in pretty good shape . . . First time I think I have seen you without a hat!  "Who is that gentleman"?   ;D

I don't think that I am crusty.  But I sure am feeling older.  I would "spring" out of bed in the morning when I was younger.  Now it takes a good 5 or 10 minutes to stretch the old bones before getting up.  Mostly shoulders and feet . . .

One nice thing about getting older though. . . I don't take life as seriously.

. . . said the focus was safety, not filling town coffers with permit money . . .

From one old fart to another:

Me and my youngest grandchild.

The crusty old tractor (my dad's) is younger than I am.

The old fart can even clean up when the whole family is present. (sorry about the red eye; not my camera)

You've gotta drop little sayings into conversation at every opportunity like "It's important to have a twinkle in your wrinkle", "The young at heart never grow old", and "You're only as old as you feel".

Y'all old folks love to say crap like that, huh?

  ;D

Often, our ignorance is not as great as our reluctance to act on what we know.

MushCreek

That's a mild beard. At home, I keep it shorter; when I'm up in the country, I let it grow. I'm thinking about letting it grow the whole time I'm building my house. At the rate I get things done, I could be a stunt double for ZZ Top! d*

I'm not really that old...  but I do get grouchy, does that count?

these were taken around christmas

i should note that the trip to colorado was to visit my wifes family.  She is from central america, and the custom there is to open presents at midnight christmas eve.  were both a little sleepy eyed here.

glenn kangiser

Beauty, muldoon, but I don't know if I'd like to meet the three in the top pix in a dark alley - they look pretty tough-- just below crusty..... :)
