They are made not too far from here.  A couple people I know have hired a company from Boise to come out and blow up their pocket gophers.  One of those guys has a real funny sense of humor said he didn't know if it worked all that well.  But he did notice the gophers on his farm now sure don't hear as well as they used to when they were done.  

These use a lot of oxygen and really not much propane.  it would be a good business to start I would think.  That is if burrowing critters are a thick other places as here.  I sure am not going to shell out the $1200 for the kit and rent a huge OX tank; when you I can just pick up the phone.  Depends how much a person wanted to get out and hustle.  Talk to some farmers and ranchers,  irrigation companies, city parks departments and landscape companies and such you might find enough interest for a start up business.  As if most of us on this forum don't have enough to do now.
