I need some advise about a septic system. The building we bought for my office has the septic up a slope near where the old restrooms were. We are putting the new restroom at the other end which of course is down hill from the septic. I was told I could get a pump to pump the waste up the hill to the septic. Is there such a thing? I can't put in a new septic, because there wouldn't be  room for the drain field. Anyone know of a pump or manufacturer or how to fix the problem.

Here is some reading material while someone picks up on your thread.  I know of a couple people that have pumps for basement bathrooms to pump to the septic line above but none who actually uses it for the complete system.

yes. I installed a grinder(sewage) pump in the bottom of a basin and it pumps it to where it can drain by natural fall. I bought mine from lowes. the basin comes in akit Ithink it was18" round by 40" deep. The top has has holes for pipe and vent. Its been working good for 4yrs.
I was at first turned down for this system in virginia, but they decided to let me doit . origanally they wanted me to install seperate  septic.

There are toilets for basements with macerator pumps also to send it uphill.
