Spring can not arrive too soon. Around here all we need is a little rain and the desert will green up. Irrigated lawns are greening up. Just in time to counter the effect of our money turning brown.  ;D
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

We've still got our snow here, but at least the sap's flowing and we have our taps in.. That's a sure sign that spring's right around the corner!

Well it is sort of spring here, mostly winter still though.  LOts of snow still bt when it snows/rains now more of the old snow disappears.  I have a lot of garden vegies going already even though my old time garden friends say it is way to early still.  I just like seeing something green I guess.  I broke my shovel the other day though, trying to get it out of the ice.  I set it by the door this winter and it sunk down in the snow which subsequentially turned to ice and then I broke it.  I think I have a couple more around here somewhere though. Still buried under snow I guess.   I did put them away in the fall but apparently we got them out for something and didn't put them back before the snow.

Spring has begun here.  Lots of early wildflowers, trees blooming, grass is green.

Spring is only a few weeks away.... 4 degrees this AM. 4 feet of snow in the front yard.

However, the Last Great Race on Earth (the Iditarod Sled Dog race) was won by Lance Mackey for the third year in a row today---1100 miles from Willow (just down the road from my cabin) to Nome. It's come to mark the unofficial start of spring here. It was a beautiful sunny day in Willow and it was 29 above!
