I'm sick of that person they elected. I'm sick of all the high tech gadgets and all the people in this country.
I just took a giant step backward and sat down with a glass of cider that I have been hardening for three weeks.

It's perfect ! c*

Just think.   A few adult beverages and we could become even more politically incorrect.  ;D

Guiness is good! So's cider!

But to be different I may break out a bottle of my hoarded Mortlach Single Malt Scotch and raise a toast to ya'll.  :D

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

It's funny how people change over the years Don. When I was in college and afterward, when I was a ski instructor, I drank enough to float several battleships. When I got married and had kids, I lost my taste for it. It wasn't a deliberate decision, it just happened.
I still drink on occasion, but have become picky about what I drink and the amount.

My alcohol consumption this year has been 4 glasses of a fairly good wine, 1 cup of Irish coffee at the Celtic Festival and a glass of hard cider.

I've come a long way from mug night at the elbow room (I had a fish bowl with a handle glued on) ;D

Cheers everyone!

I know what you mean Peter. For quite a while now we only have occasional drinks; the bottles can actually collect dust.  :o We treat ourselves to better quality stuff. There is a difference in the smoothness.  :D  I even quit brewing beer and wine.

Don't bring up the subject of fine cigars tho'. It's about 15 years since I touched one of those.
