Excluding the animal man killing other men, the animal responsible for killing the most people is NOT the bear, not the alligator, not the mountain lion / cougar. Care to guess?

It's the deer followed closely by the elk. They cross our roads and we run into them, sometimes killing ourselves and of course most of the time killing the animal.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

When visiting Yosemite, I was told that deer kill more people in the park than any other death cause.

I would have thought RATS as they have spread more disease that ultimately have been killing people for years.

The deer Oh Yes.  We are good for about one per night or one every other night in 942 Sq miles.

Hmmmmm

The evil domestic Cat.

Deer is the only other animal.

Unless it is Mans Best Friend....That would be tragic!

Further on this...
The top 5 states in the number of deer related accidents are, PA, MI, IL, OH & GA. My NM doesn't make the top 10 not for a lack of deer, but for a lack of people.

Deer are most active between 6 & 9 PM. The vehicle mounted deer whistles may not be as effective as some believe. More than 1.5 million deer-vehicle accidents are reported each year in the USA. Not all involve fatalities.

I figured it out [cool] The government is to blame. They use the air planes to spray the chemtrails. The chemtrails make the deer lethargic they run out into the road. We hit them with our car and die. Population control must be the agenda.

It is the government, Whitlock--- not through the chemtrails, but because they won't let us indiscriminately shoot the large furry rodents. [crz]

you're part right whitlock...the chemicals don't make them lethargic, they make them attracted to the sound of deer whistles mounted on vehicles. it's a proven fact!
unless we recognize who's really in charge, things aren't going to get better.

We call deer rats with hooves around here.  They are not only killing people by auto accident but by disease.  Deer ticks that carry Lyme's disease are a pestilence.  People fear the mountain lions and wolves so they kill all of them.  Then the deer has no natural enemy.  They litter the highways in PA.  You can see dozens killed and rotting at any given time.  I wish more people would take up bow hunting. The populations are greatest in suburban, semi rural areas.  These are areas were you are only within an acre or so of each house.  It is illegal and dangerous to hunt with a high power rifle in these areas.  Thousands of bow deer permits go un-used every year.
