Bad hunting weekend. Rained all day Friday and even though I usually have good success with deer in light rain, it wasn't in the cards. Today was worse. I only saw two does way out of range.

So I came home. Next weekend is the Celtic festival and I am under orders from she who must be obeyed, to go

I looked at the news today and found this story:

PETERSBURG, VA (NBC12) - A Petersburg man finds himself behind bars accused of stealing food and cigarettes out of a stranger's car.

It happened Tuesday on East Washington Street.

Police say LaJuan Brown, 27, took the items out the front seat of a parked car while the owner of the vehicle, Leroy Murphy, was inside of a bank.

When Murphy exited the bank police say he jumped in his car, chased Brown, then hit Brown repeatedly.

Brown is charged with petty larceny.

Murphy is charged with simple assault and reckless driving.

This is where the Geezer forum comes in.....the fellow chased the theif and hit him repeatedly...
Well duh...back in my day (Love that old man talk) that would be a public service. Not any more, it's simple assault. The world has changed.  ???

That did it with the news, I looked at yesterdays stock market ...Damn, George Bush was talking again. Another flashback, first to George Bush senior saying "Read my lips, no new taxes" then further back to Richard Nixon saying "I am not a crook!"

Enough with that SH&t... I turned on a movie, American Graffiti. HMMMMMM, it had Harrison Ford in it, he was a baby. I just watched the new Indiana Jones movie and he was an old goat in it.

As I watched the movie, I realized that I was not insane, I am traumatized. I was jerked violently out of the 50's, when my whole life revolved around fast cars and large bosomed high school girls, to the Vietnam tainted college years and large bosomed college girls, when this country was about to split at the seams, to the late 70's and 80's and DISCO and large bosomed Flash Dancers,   [slap] Good God, who invented DISCO.

To inline muzzleloaders and compound crossbows.

And here I am, dousing myself with vanilla extract, hoping a bear will chase me.   [noidea'

Ok, I laughed so hard that made me snort.

I did notice you mentioned large bosoms three times, Peter.

You must be crazy about something.  :D
My vessel is so small....the seas so vast......

Peter you are not with the norm.  It is usually "when I was younger the girls had never blossomed the way that young girls do today". And I don't think it is the physical appearence it is just they are more confident at a younger age now than they were L o o o n g  ago and carry their body in a different manner. Make sense or am I just rambling on.  I thought so.

I am not insane either. Crazy maybe, but not insane.
I have done so much with so little for so long that today I can do almost anything with absolutely nothing.

You have to wonder when you feel compelled to "not admit" something like this. Though I do agree with the "large bosomed" part.  ;)

Redoverfarm

Peter maybe you are the norm. Like most which is a youth trapped in an older shell.  [frus]

Warren Miller said in one of his movies;"There's a 14 year old boy trapped inside this aging body".

I think that's why Jane keeps using the word "Childish" ???
