Does anyone have a recent figure on a square foot wall cost for a masonry block basement in the southeast? Thanks.

bill2  around here the block for a 8" is about $1.27 each and the labor is almost double that.  There was a time that the labor was the same as the block.  Couldn't really tell you what the sq ft  cost would be but you could figure it up on your design.

Poured concrete walls are running anywhere from $90-110 per ln ft. on a 8' ceiling.  That's inclusive of concrete.

Bill:
On my 30 x 57 floorplan, where the foundation walls average 5.5 feet in height (and which includes a 5'x8' reinforced block tornado shelter); my block costs were about $970, surface bonding cement cost about $450 and various concrete to fill in the dry-stack blocks (ever third hole on average) cost about $300.  This is just material cost; I built the walls myself.
