Scam website?

Trying to figure out if this is a scam website or not.  Look at the prices.  No BBB information or web history that I can find.  I'm going to call them during business hours.

I don't like Paypal and won't use them but.......looking at the payment faq makes me real nervous about the site!

WOW that is such a slim margin most liquidators run on, that and others bad luck.  You can not sit on it, you got to get it moved.  Someone already screwed up in the supply line that is how you got it in the first place.  Even the wrong color kills product in the power tool line. 

Myself I think it is on the up and up.  But then at times I am prone to write Santa a letter and wonder about the Easter Bunny and Cadbury Eggs.

well the BBB website has never heard of them, ie searched for the name

their payment explanation is not correct

those cards are efectively cash with no come back
Asking for pics of your CC card - especially the rear is wrong as that has the security code
the first numbers on a cc card are from the bank of issue.

I would be very concerned..............but yes the Honda EU genny is cheap..............probably too cheap

The phone number is unlisted, if you search for liquidators in the same post code you'll find various companies

Buyer beware would be my recomendation

BBB ratings really are meaningless anymore. A company can buy a favorable rating. My old boss did it all the time.

What amazes me is that this site is still up.  Seems as though if a scam, it should have been shut down long ago.

The phone number is bogus.  It is a disconnected number.

I sent info to the BBB telling them that I thought someone was fraudulently using their endorsement.  They initially wrote back to me and told me that they could not access the website.  Whoever set it up was keen enough to block the BBB IP from accessing it. 

I took a screen shot, found the hosting company, and sent it back to the BBB.  They had an employee access this company from their home computer, and they will be taking action to get this resolved.

Dang Frank I might be wrong after all.  Shoot let me check the Ouija Board again:  Yep it says it is a good site, also says hang on to your Enron stock says it is going to double by the end of the year........  [waiting]  I think I need a new board....... ???

Ok paranoid me - makes me feel better - but i'd have loved to have that huge stainless steel tool box for $500 !

probably time to post some company reviews on google etc !

Can somebody try and hit that link?   I tried again, and it seems to have been taken down.  I don't know if I am being blocked, or if my efforts helped to shut them down.  I'm hoping the latter.

ok, i'm very upset by this. I'm afraid these postings confirm my fears. I just ordered a swing set for my little boy off of this liquidationsupersales website last Monday. They sent me an email saying it had shipped on Friday but now I can't log into my account or anything. Even my emails come back. Not sure what to do. All I know is I'm out $400 and my son is out of his playset!

Sad to hear that- if you paid with credit card - I would submit a Visa claim to your bank - submitting the e-mails etc and the link to the now disapeared website.

It will probably re-appear shortly under a diferent name

we have bought from that chinese site before- late delivery but worked !

mindyou its a coloborative effort from hundreds of companies............as far as a return goes.....the price was good- if I lost it not a big deal- and we paid with credit card so had at least a refund.

It was a ball dress for the wife - not exactly high on my worry list  8)

Thanks you guys for all the infor and response. Unfortunately, I didn't use a credit card it asked for a MoneyPak card which is a prepaid card. I should've known right then but I really wanted that swing set for my lil boy. I actually found another lady on scambook.com that was scammed by the very same website that same week but she lost $850 instead of $400 so I guess I should count my blessings. I filed a police report but they couldn't link it to anybody. Oh well, lesson learned! Thanks again!

It says it ships from Arkansas.
