As 2011 comes to a close, what do we have in store for 2012? Do you have any clear ideas?

The trouble with crystal ball gazing is that prognostications about the future usually come out as reflections of the fears and hopes we have about the present.

Are you optimistic about the coming year or do you think it will likely turn out worse than 2011? What could be the best thing that could happen?

See what you can noodle about that...

:D :D ;) HAPPY NEW YEAR! :D :D d*

Me, I'm selling and spending everything, before 12/12/12.  AAHHH!!! End of the world and everything you know!   ;)

Not to worry, it is only the end of TIME.

Not sure what is on the other side of time, however... hmm

Rick, time is not quite as tight as you think. The date we have to fear ??? is December 21, 2012, the date of the winter solstice. So there, ya' got an extra 9 days for the yard sale.  ;D ;D

2012

The economy will be stimulated from hopes of a coming better administration

I lose 50 lbs

The electoral college selects saviors of our nation

Congressmen and congresswomen join hands and vow to work for their constituents after attending a 3 day seminar on the evils of accepting money from lobbyists

I discover that the reason of my weight loss is due to the monkeys flying out of my hind end
I'm enjoying all that I own, the moment.

MD my Guru - the Right Most Reverend Voodoo Witch Doctor Floyd  from Omaha has assured me after sending him a hefty donation that my date is quite correct.  The Mayans were messed up because they did not have the right ju-ju nor they did not have computers and we do.  Therefore Floyd says 12/12/12.  You guessed it 12:12 Omaha Standard Time.  The world as we know it will end or at least change.  Let me know if you want me to PM his address and you can send him money as well.

It must be true I seen it on the internet......................

Gary I thought that was what happened when the last administration went in to power.  Like 10 or 14 Trillion ago.  I don't think we can afford any more stimulus.  The 50 pounds lost is a good thing.  Most of us can stand too loose some.  Rest assured that the good congress people will stop taking money for favors from lobbyist just as soon as The Cool-Aide Man, Santa, the Tooth Fiery, and the Great Pumpkin take the oath of office.  As far as the monkey problems go - that too shall pass.  Got any video?

OK, I must explain (sorry John)

No, but that vivid dream turned apocalyptic, as I awoke with a smile, wrung out my pillow, trudged to the oval office, took a huge Romney, and jumped back into the sack to see how the rest of the hallucination would end.

2012

Prez Santorum is discovered to be an android.

VP Bachmann takes over, but the strain of continuously smiling while talking thru her teeth sends her into menopausal fits of rage (while still smiling).
She is carted off to the Betty Ford Clinic, still smiling, waving....

Newly re-appointed speaker Pelosi takes over, but during her first press conference, secretary of interior Gingrich reaches over and pulls off her mask, revealing Nancy Pelosi.
However, she is eventually impeached due to rumors of a sex scandal in the oval office....something about a cigar.....but there are no witnesses.

I awaken, screaming.

What will 2012 bring?

An extra day, February has 29 days this year.
Not sure if that's a plus or a minus.  ???

Other than that I'm not sure.
I hope we all stay healthy.

For some reason, all the nuts think I have some special contact that knows all. Actually, I get most of my information from Mr Bear who gets it from Mr. Owl....so on.

Anyway, I was asked that same question. What will 2012 bring?

My answer:
Tomorrow!
These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!
