Acckkkk! Got the old boot yesterday. Last one hired first one to go. Was suspicious that the job was not going to last by the second week I was there. Hoping my charm would carry me through. I guess Iam alot less charming then I thought! oh well.

Sorry to disagree with you, Stinky, but you are wrong.... [waiting]

You are plenty charming... [ouch]

It's just that they ran out of money, I'm sure.... ::)

From my exit interview last night I know a couple others will be getting a surprise in hour reduction.
I am irritated how it was handled. Been in the works for a few weeks. They could have approached me with a heads up. I reduced my hours once. Was willing to do that again. But then again I really did not like the job.
I do need to find part time work. I have a few bills I aquired while remodeling the kitchen. Went a tad over budget....

You were much too good for them, Stinky.... :)

I posted this in the humor thread, but it explains a lot about who gets laid off...

None of us are as smart as all of us.

Looks like I just might have a part time job lined up. One day a week to start. I am going to work tomorrow at the end of the day the owner and I will see if its a fit. Very promising. Very fun job. Hard work but the owner is very nice and so is her staff (known them for some time). It's working at a British Bakery Shop. So the owners dry humor and mine are very similar. We agreed if it was not a good match tomorrow she buys me lunch and I get my portion of the tips.

So, do you have the accent down, Stinky? [waiting]

No accent but by default (seeing I am married to one of them) I am allowed in the clique. :heh

I worked hard today and enjoyed it. Going to try it again next week.

Good deal, Stinky  I'm all excited for you. :)
