I knew it would be HOT.

But no one thought to tell me about the bugs?

   Bugs?

I have lived in Texas since 1983 . . . Moved from Minnesota . . . Where the state bird is the mosquito!

   Bugs?  Anything in particular?

It will cool down after Labor Day.  Then the mild fall-winter to look forward to. . .

... HEAT ADVISORY THROUGH 7 PM THIS EVENING FOR PARTS OF NORTH TEXAS...

Sunday will be the coolest day this week at 95 degrees.

. . . said the focus was safety, not filling town coffers with permit money . . .

It was yummy!

Moist Briskett with some New Potato's on fine Texan China.

MountainDon

Hmmm... I have to admit to only availing ourselves of their take-out, take-home, services. So I don't know just how far you are pulling my leg with the "Texas China" comment.   :D
