searched for some hard core information regarding the loft area in each plan

i can see that the loft area in the 1 1/2 story would be bigger, and better for housing
two girls

i want the girls to have plenty of room up there

i just can't seem to get my mind off the 1 1/2 story! i really like those plans

part of my thinking is that it would be easier to build something 16' wide vs the 20' of the 1 1/2
story, but should i really be overly concerned with that??

does that 4' really make a huge differance to beginners such as ourselves??

if we did go with the 1 1/2 story, it would be less modifications (moving the addition on the victoria's cottege
to the back of the house), but i like VC plans too, i really think we could make that house work for us!

asside from that, i want the best usage of the loft, and the best lumber size for us greenhorns to aquire/work
with

our RV is 15' wide at the slide out, i'm trying to see in my mind that width and how small a space in the loft
area that would make

maby if we could use 12' 2x6's for framing, that would give them more room in the loft using the victoria's cottage
plans?

man, this is a hard decission!  d*

I would say that the 1-1/2 story plan would have more potential space in the loft and be easier to build than the Victoria. But the VC has some unique spaces and charm.

I expect that is no help at all. ;)
None of us are as smart as all of us.

on no, you've all been plenty of help, really!

i guess i'm just suffering from "decission meltdown" ???

honestly, i think the 1 1/2 story will be better, i'm just looking for someone to hold my hand ;)

tonight will be the final night of thinking, daniel hasn't really seen the VC plans, and i wanted him
to look over them before we make this decission,

we also want a deep 3 season porch, and if the home is already 20' deep, another 8' of porch will make
for a big footprint, so the width of the VC works better for that need, but its hard to balance all
the different "wants"

i'll be glad when this is all over, and we can start to focus on the building

it sure will be nice to have those plans in my hands, real evidence that i'm not dreaming
