good music vids
« on: February 28, 2009, 08:29:24 PM »
Starting a thread of music

I think architecture and music are linked at some visceral  level

This is a personal favorite -- featured in a movie (points for naming the movie LOL)

Rodney Atkins' "Watching You" is touching, especially for fathers... It helps if you like country, which I don't.. ;) Can't help not liking it though!

how about some chasidic rock gospel?

a new favorite song of mine, especially gripping once you know the translation of the lyrics.

just spent a few days building a website, and didn't know that it could be so physically taxing to sit and do nothing all day!

Okay, just found another music vid I have to share... The song is called, "Cletus Take the Reel". If the title doesn't make you chuckle, make sure you've first seen Carrie Underwood's song:

Tim Hawkin's version:

i love that ccr lonelytree.  I am a big reddirt fan myself.  I am trying to work out a rek song on my guitar these days and found this cover version of some fellow texan who seems to have nailed it.  I think his version is incredible...  kinda squeaky at the beginning, but he finds his rhythm soon enough.

I liked that one a lot, tex!

This is the only way to watch Nickelback's "Hero".

Shameless, I know, I know... ;D

How about another spoof--Tim Hawkin's 'Hey there Delilah' makes me laugh every time!

I've always liked the Mississippi Squirrel Revival by Ray Stevens.
