Maybe next year they'll bring a package of bacon and some other neatly wrapped cuts of pork from the market and explain that after a little,  ummmm unpleasantness this here hog pig becomes these food items.  But Oink here has been pardoned by the president so we're just going to let him run along.

Peter I will let you know and you can even probably shoot and stick it also.  No one is going to hold you back if you want to scrape it as well. Were they trying to be political correct or just figured that is all the public could digest.

Peter I showed that picture to my son.  He said "mine was that big when I first got him"  What are they doing butchering a pig that small?  Ideally 250-300# is about right for first year spring pig.
