A 210 pound hunter, 25 feet in the air, wearing a harness, goes to sleep and falls off.

A 130 pound spike buck gets shot through both lungs by a 100 rain broadhead going 320 feet per second.

Who won?

Well....the spike is in the freezer and I ain't! ;D

Peternap- that story brings back some memories. Bought a $300.00 tree stand from Cabelas. Had a good spot picked out a week early. Put the stand in the tree and weighted for deer season. When I showed up opening morning at the stand. It was nothing but a balled up mess of aluminum. It seems that I put the stand in a area were a black bear was raising two cubs. Got a real good look at them that morning, that I could of did without. Almost had to shoot the sow. Lucky she took here cubs and left. But not until she had a go at my nerves [scared]

Did good this deer seson. Glenn says the bucks are little around here wish he was with me to drag this little one :)

Nice Buck!
Mines a tad smaller ;D
Last Saaturday was a good shakedown day for the rest of the season. I have the first meat deer and 3 months for the rest.
Bear season comes in this saturday. Yjey take a little more work. Can't bait here but I can use scents .... so come Saturday morning, I'll be on stand smelling like Vanilla extract and Bacon grease and looking like a green cream puff, ???

Not the edge of a road but the edge of the power lines.
