I've ckecked out the recommended reading list on this site, but didn't see any books on concrete work.  I purchased "Foundations and Concrete Work", by Fine Homebuilding, it's a nice overveiw of the different options.

I would like to find a book (or online source) with more detail on building concrete block walls for a crawl space or basement.  Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Beavers

Here is a link to some fairly simple information from Quikcrete - I just updated the link.

I have a book titled " Masonry and Concrete Work" written by Max Alth copyright 1978 ,published by Times Mirror Magazine.  It is an excellent book which covers all areas of concrete, foundations, block laying, stone work an other subjects.  Maybe an on-line book store would have a copy.

Thanks guys,

The Quikcrete site looks like it has some good info on it.

I'll have to check out Amazon and see if they the Max Alth book.

Check out the website drystacked.com.  A wealth of info there.  It's how I built my block walls and is covered in blog address below.
