I'm looking for a 50 to 75W or so solar panel for a camping setup.  Best I can find is a Solar-Tech 55 for $156 from Affordable Solar here in ABQ.  But they drop ship from manufacturer.

Anybody know of any better deals on the web?

I've had very good prices buying grade B panels direct from Sun Electronics, http://www.sunelec.com/solar-panels-c-5.html  but I don't see anything that small there right now.  In retrospect, it might be worth buying locally if warrenty shipping is covered, even if the price is a little more.

It looks like prices are actually going higher on the lower watt units.  It does not sound like a bad price and Affordable seems pretty helpful with questions and such.

How about modules they may have in stock and ready for pickup.... can the freight savings help balance out the purchase cost? They had good local stock on many of the most common modules back when I was looking. They waived the extra crate fee when ordering fewer than the factory boxed numbers too.
Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.
