It was a bad week health wise but I did get some work done on the barn. I have to come back to the Burbs to film an event Tuesday but I swear I hate leaving. Things are just starting to come to life.

These here is God's finest scupturings! And there ain't no laws for the brave ones! And there ain't no asylums for the crazy ones! And there ain't no churches, except for this right here!

That deer picture is stunning.  How did you light that?

Just because something has been done and has not failed, doesn't mean it is good design.

It's natural lighting NM.
I shoot everything kind of flat. -2-2+2-2-2 The plus is saturation.

Bring it all up in post and adjust the color and put the adjusted layer on top and change the opacity of that layer to just add the highlights I want. If I still need more I add a 3rd and sometimes 4th layer to adjust the highlights and shadows.

I can really relate to that, Pete

Those deer look very healthy

the WI deer still look scruffy -- shedding the winter coat

I just got back last night from a few days at the farm

it is very green for end of March in Wisconsin

the cranes are pairing up

heard a gobble or two, daffodils starting to bloom

I did not want to came back -- but the grand son is in town -- we may take him up there, he is very curious about the farm

Met with a concrete contractor that seemed very good -- I looked at the foundation he just put in about 7 miles from the farm -- it looked top quality

He has well maintained equipment

Often, our ignorance is not as great as our reluctance to act on what we know.
