This is the 1st year in a long time I'm not at the Veterans Hospital taking care of them.   I've met a lot of special people there who've put their lives on the line.   My dad was a 30 yr Air Force Vet.  Thanks!

My dad was a 30-yr AF vet, too.  Died last year at 87, had a good life, and although we had our issues, I miss him.  I was lucky enough to be able to go take care of him at the end of his life.  Wish he could have lived to be a hundred!

Thanks to all the military folks who are willing to put their lives on the line for the rest of us.

Yeah, my dad & I didn't see eye-to-eye all the time but I miss him...  I was able to care for my dad at the end of his life, too - will always remember that time & the chance to give back a little - he was there when we needed him...  Always provided for us  & made sure we had the opportunities he never had.
