If needed, can a little (12 x 16) house on a post and pier system be moved with difficulty or relative ease?  I moved a shed on my main property once with round landscape timbers as rollers. but this house is three times that size.  I know in theory it is possible, but I wonder about the practicality of it?

Thanks,

If you Egyptians could build the pyramids...

If you don't have many turns to make, it could be straight forward as far as doing it the round timber way.  Also might try jacking it up in place, and setting it down on a lowboy trailer.  If it is a short distance, but obstructed, you may check into the cost of having a crane do it.

It's one of those things that can be done but you don't want to do it if you don't have to-- plumbing - wiring -things hooked to the ground have to be torn up.  Not really cost effective unless its unavoidable.
