People are so nuts.  Are they actually stupid enough to believe this stuff when they write it, or do they think everyone else is that naive.

The federal government is clearly gearing up for the likelihood of civil unrest on a scale that could outstrip what we've already seen in countries across Europe.

That makes a little more sense Squirl. I'm one of the NWS Advanced Spotters and spend a lot of time around NWS people. I've yet to see one training for civil unrest They have enough to do training on the radar updates.

On the other hand, there could be a secret faction in charge of Obama's rainy day project.
