Try your public library. look for International Residential Codes 2003

It's the IRC 2003 specifically for Seattle, but there's not going to be too much variation.  The IRC is extremely detailed; almost gets down to what color of toilet paper you can use.

Here's a screen shot from the PDF file. I never thouht of these minimums when I first looked at your plan. How do your rooms size out as drawn?

There are still a few places in this country where you don't have to worry about the UBC.  Better hurry up, though, because that situation is likely to change before much longer.

So if the inspector asks can I call all the smaller rooms closet spaces ??  ;)

Edit to add my Kitchen, Living Room and Dinning room area is alittle over 220 sq ft. And the master bedroom is about 110 sq. ft.  ;D

Maybe - and you may not have to pay school tax or as many fees on storage space. :)
