The family of imprisoned Border Patrol agent Ignacio Ramos was the victim of an attempted hit on their lives this month, as the agent's wife says someone broke into their El Paso home and filled it with gas, trashing photographs and pummeling their dog.

I find this case of Ramos & Compean so totally outrageous - they must know something Bush & Co doesn't want anyone to know about >:(

Here is a link to sign a petition if anyone thinks this case is a travesty of justice - even over 100 congressmen have expressed their outrage - but seems every which way are brick walls...  http://bl142w.blu142.mail.live.com/mail/InboxLight.aspx?ReadMessageId=fa8e0600-d339-448a-a158-d5c616d77f7f&n=506359294

That who situation is a complete mess . . .

The border towns are full of violence, due mostly to drugs.  I hope the best for the Ramos family.  They should move if they could.
. . . said the focus was safety, not filling town coffers with permit money . . .
