I thought this might interest some of the members/guest who might be contemplating a log home as an alternative to a stick frame.  The video was made for a guy I know that has a Log home restoration company not far from my house.  In fact some of the material I used in mine came from his yard.  It gives you some idea of the work involved in the process not only with the dismantling but also the erection process.  I guess Mark Bowe who is the owner made this as an advertisement type video but it is really about the process and the employees who work for him.  

I also thought that someone might get some ideas for their own cabins which are highlighted throughout.  Log cabins are not for everyone but as John Jett ( an employee) once told me that it is addictive and once you bite you are hooked.  The video is about 20 minutes long but I think it is worth the time.
