Yes I came here to hear , NO.

So I decided to take up tap dancing. From home first. Got my tap shoes and a DVD for the newbies of tap.

I just need to remember what foot is right and what foot is left, but seeing I am doing this at home I can mark my feet with a L & R.

Noooooo. I got new tap shoes today. I have a dvd on tap but never had proper shoes. So I went out and bought me a pair. I just finished a hard 20 minutes and realized I stink! I have no timing. I can now hear how bad I am. practice practice practice.

Why you are taking up tap dancing... not a lot of demand for tap dancers....

Possibly pole dancing would be more lucrative...

Just guessing... I don't know any pole dancers either....

It looks like such fun, tap dancing.

I expect if you can get to the point where you can get that first trill of taps to roll off your feet, then you will be hooked. It is certainly good exercise for legs, heart, etc and a good balance builder.

I'm sure AARP would approve!

Sorry, Stink ... every time I watch that gal on that pole and think of you I start laughing......

I know it's not funny and I don't want you to get hurt... just something about it strikes me funny and I get uncontrollable snickers....
